The "Hy” in HySecurity refers to hydraulic. HySecurity was founded in the 1960s using aviation grade hydraulic technology for its industrial, high security gate operators. Today we also design and manufacture electro-mechanical residential and commercial, automated vehicular gates. HySecurity and Nice products cycle several hundred thousand gates at single family residences, commercial facilities of every type, most U.S. international airports, the Pentagon, Fort Knox, petrochemical facilities, utilities, server farms, and traffic / parking control applications in the United States and around the world.
HySecurity was acquired in 2017 by Nice S.p.A. resulting in the merger of HySecurity and Nice USA. Nice USA complements HySecurity products with highly successful residential, rural and solar linear actuators and commercial gate operators. Installers know many of those operators under their former Apollo brand name.
